  1. Had a good show last night in the King George's in Blackburn. Great hospitality, small audience but they loved it! Can I please come again?
  2. Terrific Lashings dinner for 400 at Lord's on Friday. Brill grouse for dinner last night, to Winterslow by Sarum for Lashings match today
  3. Two good winners y'day at Lingfield and another today at lunch at the splendid Le Colombier. Speech tonight for Lashings at Lord's
  4. Long absence due to two slipped discs and two exposed nerves caused not only by the excitement of the Oval Ashes.
  5. Off to the IECC in Edinburgh for my first appearance on the Fringe! Nervous? No. On my toes? Yes. What fun it will be
  6. Edinburgh agog at prospect of An Evening with Blowers on the Fringe and the outing of Coward's lady jane - edgy but a hoot!!!
  7. To Edinburgh for my shows at the Festival at the Conference Centre at 1.30 on Saturday and Sunday when Coward's Lady Jane will be on air.
  8. Lashings game at Bromley today. 900 to lunch in a huge marquee. Auction by Johnny Gould and Dean jones's first game for 10 years
  9. A parking ticket in Bond Street outside Charbonnel & Walker - best chocs ever. Bridge this evening softened by Blowers brill Cote du Rhone!
  10. I can't wait for my two shows next weekend in Edinburgh at IECC. I wonder what they'll make of Noel Coward's Lady Jane?!!
  11. Off to see Coco Before Chanel late this afternoon. Brilliant dinner in Clapham last night. No cricket, thank heavens!
  12. The Fourth Test is bad enough but what about the Canaries biggest home defeat in their history. A new recipe please Delia.
  13. Shilpa, all in white, looked like an angel on the first day of the Test. On the second she is wearing delicious black! My goodness me!
  14. What do scholarly chaps of my age do about modern technology? Paying at the car park was impossible: getting out of it even worse!
  15. Lunch with Scottish journalist. I am playing in the Edinburgh Festival at the Conference Centre at 1.30pm on August 16 & 17.
  16. A peaceful evening cooking Creole prawns from Delia Smith fine recipe. Now to the washing up. Every silver lining hs a cloud!

  18. The Commodore who runs the British military in Gibralter is besotted by TMS. So to is my wonderfully beautiful chauffeur!
  19. Valderrama terrifico. The course superb, the cold buffet better stil and many avid TMS listeners
  20. A delicious lunch at Le Colombier SW3. Lobster soup, and rare steak. On to Soho to do a voicover for Red Bull and then up to Norfolk.
