  1. @ComcastMelissa Since dropouts seem related to weather (never happens in the winter), my guess is I need to wait to have it checked.
  2. @mikeash happens to me regularly during warm weather but never when it's cold. I plan to call comcast about it next time.
  3. @edog1203 Exactly. It's a good thing.
  4. @gparker Amen to that.
  5. @stevenf is IGS closed down? Looks like site is up but no more postings?
  6. @atomicbird Thanks to @gparker http://blog.roguesheep.com/...#comment-13941
  7. @ddribin Agreed.
  8. @jsamuelson It's always dangerous. That's the point.
  9. @atomicbird Now *that* is a valid point :) The two-week turnaround to find this out is bad.
  10. @jsamuelson If you're the dev of that app, you want to know that you've done this, inadvertently or no. And you want to change it.
  11. @wolfbane Doesn't matter.
  12. @bwebster As a dev, you want that called out, even if it's unintentional. This rejection prevents undefined/unpredictable behavior.
  13. @jsamuelson (a)is not a multitasking issue (b) iPhone does a TON of multi-tasking.
  14. @jsamuelson Because you have no idea what that method actually does. Preventing it from running is undefined and probably a horrible idea.
  15. @pilky Definitely worse - because you don't know how, when, or why it's used. So override behavior is undefined. Not as much the case w/ pub
  16. @ctp Exactly. I'm just confused why people are talking about rejection on this basis as bad. Seems
  17. Uh, but isn't overriding a private method just as bad or worse than actually calling a private method? Why *wouldn't* that get flagged?!
  18. @etrepum Such a good show. (Too short, though!)
  19. @wolfbane Uh, Torchlite is PC-only. How tacky.
  20. @wolfbane Looks really fun, although after watching all these PS3 game trailers, I'm more excited for Assassin's Creed2, Uncharted 2, etc :)
