  6. Heading in for a push through Wordos crits, working on a new story, and the first pass at the Seekret Prawjekt comic script.
  7. Up after a 36-hour writing push on the novel. Coffee, then back in again to (hopefully) finish.
  8. Finished the Butte to Butte in under an hour. Not bad, considering how little training I've done thus far.
  9. Slamming some rewrite on Blueshift before going to the junior moppet's birthday "powty." Powty-powty-powty!
  10. A beautiful cool green morning on the hill. Filled with anticipation.
  11. Dog tired after a day helping the wife pack up her classroom. Word count on the rewrite is zero. Reset tomorrow.

  13. On this sunny day, the sound of mowers echoes over the city.

  15. More rewrite. Progress is slow, results good.

  18. Nice 8 mile run to initiate Father's Day. Got back to beat the family awake so I was making breakfast for them when they got up.
