Working on some interesting new stuff for Birdfeed this week. It's big, so it'll take awhile, but take heart: cool things are on the way!

@ Unfortunately not right now. I wish Flickr didn't require a separate API request to attach that data to a photo.

@ There is one. It's the little house button in the upper right corner of the tweet detail view.

@ Personally, I agree. I wish I could turn landscape mode off in Apple's apps.

@ I'm not a fan of splash screens. The purpose of the Default.png is to make the app appear to load faster, not be a splash screen.

@ That said, I should probably make BF load more than 20 cached tweets on launch. And that it does a better job of keeping place.

@ In Tweetie there can be gaps in the timeline between old cached tweets and the newest tweets if you haven't checked for a day or so.

@ BF caches every tweet you download. Unlike Tweetie, however, BF doesn't pretend it can give you persistence with no gaps.

@ Go to that Accounts view and tap on one of the blue arrow buttons. Sorry--I guess we need to make that clearer.

One thing we forgot to mention amid the 1.2 hoopla: Birdfeed is now $2.99. This bird is now priced to move, baby!

@ BF is not maliciously denying you RTs, as you seem to imply. Its parser just needs to be updated to recognize the new kind.
