  1. Brunch at Smith & Mills and now eating Pawlett cheese and watermelon at Tompkins.
  2. Embarrassing encounter today with my nose and a straw in my ice coffee at Falai. BF says I'm a smooth operator.
  3. Had a nice dinner at Barrio Chino. Place was LOUD, but still fun. And they don't mess around w/ spice. Habanero Margarita almost killed me.

  5. Opened my lunch to see half of the inari I made last night were missing. Seems the BF had a few for breakfast. D'OH!

  7. New post will be delayed this week because of a personal matter. Sorry guys.
  8. Beef Noodle Soup at Empire Szechuan in Wash Heights was a godsend 2day. Bit salty and tendon was not tender, but way better than Wendy's.
  9. Lunch was watery old salad at Wendy's in Inwood/Washington Heights. Surprisingly missed midtown.
  10. Was looking at the menu for Delicatessan and they have a Chinoise salad with kimchee pears. I won't be going there.
  11. Drinks with friends was fun last night, except half full drinks kept disappearing. Not cool.
  12. According to this article (http://tinyurl.com/lbpwc5) lunch in Manhattan costs $18.61. Which midtown deli are they eating at?
  13. Crap! The burrata I bought this week from Trader Joe's expired last week. Thanks a lot Trader Joe's, I'll be going back to Ann of Saxelby.

  16. I'm not feeling too well. The BF has now been sent on a wine run. Wine should kill all the nasty germies.
  17. Feeling a little off today, but my wonderful coworker is on his way to get noodle soup for us from Hing Won. Chinese noodles cure all!
  18. My nephew really likes the artichoke-olive crostini spread I made. He took a bite, and said, "Mm, good." Thanks @thesmitten!
