  1. @DailyDOOH Now there's a funny thing for a Brit to say. I understand they can deport you for such utterances :)
  2. Sure, but I was there last week, and I'll be the first to admit I was jealous of the fall weather.
  3. @Adcentricity Sounds like you need to swing by south florida more often. We're sitting here waiting for that kind of weather to end now :)
  4. @NEOCAST You said it. There seems to be no shortage of fools.
  5. Digital Signage firm Wireless Ronin ($RNIN) asking for more money. http://bit.ly/2TPkKH They'd run out pretty soon otherwise (for the best?)
  6. @dorsetsound If you're proAV you already have most of the skills. My advice: start small, pick good partners & skip the certifications
  7. @ericunold So you advocate having multiple kids for built-in redundancy? :)
  8. Pat Hellberg just posted "DIY Digital Signage: Should You Try The Do-It-Yourself Approach?" to the DS Insiders blog: http://bit.ly/HMij
  9. Wow. Sesame Street turns 40 today. I wouldn't have know it were it not for the Google doodle :)
  10. @Armano Agreed :)
  11. @thebrandbuilder Agreed. In this case it certainly doesn't.
  12. @Armano Ah, that was my original (admittedly tongue-in-cheek) point: you're contributing to it right now.
  13. @Armano @thebrandbuilder Sure, but plenty of SM is purely buzz amplification. It's easier than actually doing the work.
  14. @Armano Re Pizza Hut not being social media: They got you talking about it, didn't they? ;)
  15. @DailyDOOH Aw shucks, you're making me blush :) Thanks, though - I certainly value your opinion.
  16. Just released The 2009 Digital Signage Pricing Report: http://www.wirespring.com/r... 62 pages, lots of pretty graphs, and it's free!
  17. @saaze I posted a follow-up comment in that thread for you http://bit.ly/2Cz5RJ
  18. Oh right, Ogilvy study said something like 30% or 35%. But what they studied was fundamentally different than the original data from POPAI.
  19. @RobinBrown That number is actually 70% of BRAND decisions (e.g. buying Tide instead of Era) are made in store. From a 1995 POPAI study.
  20. @sixteennine Hah, like they'd be willing to pay for info they can get for free from totally honest, ego-inflated CEOs?
