  1. I think sometimes I think too much about what I'm writing. Not good for productivity.
  2. Email banjaxed. This is probably a good thing.
  3. First cup of tea of the day lasted about 15s. May need another one.
  4. @twittcrumpet And brake levers. Very poor attention to detail.
  5. @phil_btt I once bought a pair of AT3s, tried to fit my Magura Hydrostop levers, gave up and sold them. Unused, but a bit scratched ;-)
  6. 100% OF MENTAL: http://bit.ly/27bL7s
  7. @shedfire Had it been a little out in the same direction at both ends I'd have assumed I'd cocked it up ;-)
  8. That last one @shedfire ;-)
  9. Digital angle finder, tared on the ground, seatpost, fork stanchion, fork fully extended. 10 out of 12 bikes I did were <0.5 away from spec.
  10. @cycotic @shedfire I measured a Remedy at Interbike, it was a degree slacker at the head and a degree steeper at the seat than Trek said.
  11. Press release about new trail at Haldon Forest, nr Exeter. Strangely quiet about loss of old trails, though. Any locals shed any light?
  12. @shedfire You'll have seen the b3ta logo awards, I guess?
  13. More PR cobblers: "...further advances the crucial mass of the sports cluster". Wot?
  14. Survey sponsored, of course, by maker of anti-bacterial hand wipes. Complete with "awareness week" and FUD about MRSA on cash machines.
  15. Got to get the London media covered off, even if your bogus survey only has the capital 7th for infrequency of hand washing.
  16. Adjacent emails in inbox - "Bristolians Revealed as Most Unhygienic Region in Britain","London Revealed as One of the Most Unhygienic etc"
  17. Heading out for a ride before the weather goes. Test parts: 2010 Deore, Garmin Dakota touch-screen GPS, some helmet or other, Giro gloves
  18. Making salmon roulades - http://twitpic.com/mnq4m
  19. @BenSimmons Nah. Old 8spd FTW, it's not so painful when you crash and break it, or fill it with mud ;-)
  20. @BenSimmons 105 yes, but I doubt they'd be interested in replacing very battered third-hand 8spd ones ;-)
