  1. Flying home from Newark in the morning after a busy week (Calgary, Chicago, Newark)...going to relax this evening!
  2. Sanctus and Agnus Dei from Beethoven's Missa Solemnis, reflective music as I prepare for the busy week ahead.
  3. @benbreeland No; while some may appear to be, many (most?) are well-deserved. While Peace Prize is most problematic, others tend not to be.
  4. Heading to Calgary Monday for week at my new company, Aria. A great team, in a great market. Fortunately, snow should be gone!
  5. @rhilsen Thanks Rob, good to be back in the familiar marketplace. Taking time off on something different sharpens the mind!
  6. @dnm54 Thanks Dan – I really enjoyed the conversation this morning! And thanks for kind words...Aria is ready to roll!
  7. Beethoven's Ninth Symphony (Simon Rattle) provides perfect end to a busy week. Relaxing, reading SuperFreakonomics again, after hiatus
  8. @huntster1701 Thanks for comment!
  9. @huntster1701 BUT, even today in US, telephone service is not a "legal right". You still have to pay for it. There is a huge difference.
  10. @huntster1701 I think the approach taken with telephony (universal access) is appropriate. Government promotes penetration to everyone...
  11. Not convinced "broadband as a legal right" is an obvious slam dunk...thoughts? http://bit.ly/2qpCI9
  12. Listening to Beethoven's three Leonore overtures...while working after a busy day of calls. Need to get back to SuperFreakonomics soon!
  13. Just got advance copy of SuperFreaknomics from HarperCollins – will review it soon...it starts well!
  14. Reading reports (aka getting up to speed on new company!) and listening to Dvorak Cello Concerto
  15. @tony_simek Thanks Tony. How are you doing these days?
  16. @MBOZE Thanks, I got it. Lots to digest, but I was thinking along those lines!
  17. @tony_simek Thanks Tony! It's good to be back in the industry!
  18. Just finished updating LinkedIn etc...I have started in new role as CEO at Aria Solutions, Inc. (http://bit.ly/raAcj)
  19. Still mostly flying under the radar these days...in San Francisco visiting some clients and making some changes.
  20. Posted item on "Whither Customer Service Technology?" on Discreet Math Group blog: http://bit.ly/8WVjd
