  1. Writing again. *sigh* All is well.
  2. RT @KayCassidy: When did this happen? Almost at 700 followers. Will do a The Cinderella Society swag bag giveaway when I hit it. 10 to go...
  3. @BeMissH Yes, but many, like me, won't buy e versions that are so close in price to hard versions. Why shd I pay so much if I only get data?
  4. Dear World: I am mad at you. You are a sucky friend right now. Shape up, or I am moving to the Moon. At least he has a pretty face. #fb
  5. RT @inkyelbows: Advice from writers from lit agent @Janet_Reid: Make MORE mistakes, not fewer...then learn from them. http://ow.ly/Arj7
  6. @kBlakeBradford Glad she's ok--but man, that sucks about the hospital!
  7. @kBlakeBradford What happened?! Hope all is ok
  8. Night all! Hope your Saturday is as brilliant as I'm hoping mine will be!
  9. @ixtumea Good for you! (And him!) Hope it all works out now.
  10. @ixtumea Has your son been able to start in the new charter school yet?
  11. @ixtumea I'm hard pressed to think of a state w/ a more disorganized edu plan than CA. Collective bargaining turned wrong. Come to NC! :)
  12. @ckmarciniak Yay for you! (started RA, btw. On page 50)
  13. @ixtumea Although I'm against vouchers, I agree that parents should have multiple options--we have 3 choices in our district to meet needs.
  14. @kdueykduey Especially as they're cutting educator's pay, but not government officials! (at least in NC)
  15. @ixtumea Do they not??? Or are you referring to the voucher program for private schools?
  16. @kdueykduey I'm in NC, but have friends in CA--it does sounds quite rough there. At least we have significant local support.
  17. RT @kdueykduey Just want to say this: When we are worried about the country's future education should be the LAST thing we cut. Are we nuts?
  18. @kdueykduey AGREED. As a teacher, I can see markedly less funds coming to my classroom--and markedly less excited students.
  19. Aspirations of being a NYTimes author? You need a dose of Genreality. For reals, good stuff: http://tiny.cc/wJmiX
  20. @sjaejones AND you're working in one of the coolest buildings in the world--don't forget that! *am jealous*
