  1. Completely lost my voice after a week of cold-y symptoms (now gone). Have installed Google Talk to talk to Kevin, who is sitting next to me.
  2. Now I'm away from writing the technical part of the document and into the waffly management part. It's more buzzwords but shorter sentences.
  3. I suppose the other symptom of my working very, very hard is how much I'm suddenly Twittering. Ah, procrastination. There's nothing like it.
  4. Stalkers can surely tell anyway that I am working with intense concentration - last.fm shows I've been playing violin concertos for 4 hours.
  5. New sentence. Over a hundred words. Two commas. Someone kill me. (Surely I am proving myself worthy of entering the real world of Business?)
  6. I just wrote down a seventy-word sentence in my report. Seventy words. Without commas. And I didn't even notice because it made total sense.
  7. Writing my individual report for our 4th year proj, after finishing my bits of the main 30,000 word group report. 986 words down. 2014 to go
  8. Hmm, forgot to go meta and take into account the tweet I just wrote. Make that 72 of 77. (Um, now 73 of 78.) (I should definitely stop now.)
  9. @aquarion 71 of my 76 tweets so far have been twooshes. Sometimes I feel I'm taking it too seriously, and then I think, "But the CHALLENGE!"
  10. @miketd It's a CSS problem, not an HTML problem. You can solve it by adding "padding-left: 1px;" to the "#content .entry" in the stylesheet.
  11. "...attempt to *debug it*." (That Twitter update was most definitely not over 140 characters, and yet it got trimmed anyway... How dare it.)
  12. In the manner of Mark Pilgrim <http://tinyurl.com/324h7g>, I have an XML (serialization) test which is failing unless I attempt to ...
  13. Correction: apparently it was due in this morning. How bloody annoying - it'll be the only assignment I've ever handed in late. Lost 5% now.
  14. Major coursework due in on Friday morning (parallelising a C program) means I'm just about to start the 3000-word essay due in tomorrow. Hm.
  15. For the second time in two and a half years of living in Coventry we have ordered a pizza delivery! (Plus garlic bread.) We are so decadent.
  16. Just arranged a date for my first job interview (which is actually a 4-5 hour assessment day + interview). Feeling a little nervous, really.
  17. Quick poll on maths operator associativity: (4^2^3)=(16^3) or (4^2^3)=(4^8) ? Google, OpenOffice.org and Wikipedia disagree with each other.
  18. At 2400ish lines, my first draft of an SBML <http://sbml.org/> parser in C# is done. Spent most of today parsing MathML. Still not ...
  19. Add to that my fuzzy head, my inaccurate typing and my apparent propensity to drop things and/or throw them around the room unintentionally.
  20. Just fell asleep for an hour unexpectedly. This, combined with my sore throat of the past three days, makes me think my cold is coming back.
