  1. had an excellent curry with the YPD boys and Gav tonight. so full i thought i was gonna throw up. great last evening together.
  2. just about finished packing. wonder how strict they are on the weight limits...
  3. gap team memory charades at the girls' house.
  4. wondering when i'll fit in the last bit of packing i've to do.
  5. wonderful last Sunday at Christchurch. felt very honored and loved. and, got a welsh rugby top from my home group!
  6. this body-bag I borrowed from Janelle is amazing. I think I'll be able to bring most my stuff back now.
  7. or is it swum? those are weird words.
  8. not sure if i'm ready for the heat. can't wait for the beach though- haven't swam in year!
  9. packing for Hamburg. looks like it'll be approaching 30 degrees there- good prep for when I go home. maybe I won't be pasty white.
  10. one last evening with the pasalich's. and then ps3 with paso, of course. gonna miss that bogan.
  11. wondering what it will be like to celebrate the 4th in Germany. so wish we were gonna still be in Britain. i think they planned it this way.
  12. scored two goals at footy tonight. sorry pembo and t-dogg! find solace in the knowledge that it was my last night.
  13. spent the afternoon in newport running errands. really wanted to find a headband, but no luck. they're still in, aren't they...?
  14. gutting loss to brazil. so looked like we had it the first half. ah well. good time with the slocombes anyway.
  15. thought jeff purswell was excellent today, as was our home group picnic. what did i pack? MackyD's baby. yes, sadly stereotypical American.
  16. sweet party and kip-over at pemberton's last night. that meringue pudding was divine. still don't understand eggy bread and ketchup though.
  17. my desk looks especially tidy after tossing all my no-longer-needed papers and items. preparations have begun.
  18. off to tea at the Rees' and then my last home group. hmm.
  19. last morning at Mount Pleasant Primary today. sat in on their sports day. brought back memories of celebration all those years ago.
  20. andy: "is your dad very tall?" me: "no, not really. about 6 foot." andy: [laughter] "in Wales, that's pretty tall!" oh yeah....
