  10. Star Trek: really good. as a half-Trekkie I like it, any non-Trekkies will too. Kirk is James Dean'd up, and whats with all the Lens Flare??
  11. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: firstly, why isnt it DWARVES? An impressive feat for its day, some nice water/smoke/hat animation.
  12. Taking of Pelham One Two Three: the old one. Its really good. Thrilling, interesting, tense. It doesnt bode well for the remake.
  13. Fever Pitch: nice little 90s com-rom, totally English in every way. And very 90s. Big hair all around! (ps yes I know Welsh is Scotch)
  14. Don't Look Now: were the 70s really this dull, that the films were just long stretches of Dull? It has about 15 interesting mins throughout
  15. The Uninvited: US remake of Tale of Two Sisters, so watching a plot twist film whilst knowing the twist is a little pointless. Good though.
  16. State of Play: competant thriller, who's the bad guy? Government or corporations or-dun dun duunn - BOTH??
  17. Kinsey: a rewatch, still fairly good I guess, the middle-aged actors playing characters from youth to old age is a little odd though
  18. Bruno: almost the same film as Borat, same setups, targets, narrative devices. Few realy good bits but only a few
  19. Public Enemies: Michael Mann once again saying 'Hey! Aren't criminals cool and such nice people? Its just a job, man'. Not his best by far.
  20. Band Of Brothers: rewatched it, still utterly astonishing TV, brlliant in every aspect, a must-watch. And only minor fact:fiction alteration
