  1. Enjoying the 5/8" Grand Master that Cannon sent me with a hard Elite. Don't know what the calibration is, but it's harder with small handles
  2. "Tworkout." = Twitter Workout.
  3. Hit grippers hard again tonight and my strength seems to be on the upswing again on both hands. Little by little getting stronger.
  4. Back on track after 4 years with the MM3 gripper as my goal before the year is over.
  5. Pulled a 255lb one-hand thumbless-grip deadlift, both left and right hands...then 308lbs on the one-hand deadlift, right hand only, no h ...
  6. Will try to post the details of a Kansas grip contest that I'm organizing. The venue is the most impressive gym I've ever seen. Dino Gym.
  7. Jedd Johnson's (of the Diesel Crew) Gripper Drop Sets video is a great way to incorporate a plateau-buster to take your gripper strengh up.
  8. Nothing like the mountain air of Denver to wake me up in the morning. Wish I was here much longer!
  9. Having a great 4th of July out here in Denver with my in-laws! No training for a few days - so I made up an excuse to lift a 275lb field ...
  10. Just did an awesome workout that John McKean - an accomplished lifter - was nice enough to share on the Power & Bulk forum. Great program!
  11. I'm going to test my shoulders tonight by doing some steel bending. Here's hoping my shoulders don't come unhinged, lol.
  12. I spent some time today going over ideas I have for possibly holding a USAWA-sanctioned grip contest later this year.
  13. Trying to finish up my writeup of the 2009 USAWA Nationals tonight so Al Myers can put the report up on www.usawa.com.
  14. Feels good to update my blog with the results and my thoughts about the USAWA Nationals on Saturday. Had a great time and I'm very sore now.
  15. Just got back from my USAWA contest and I had a great time! Set some new personal records on a few lifts. I'll update my blog with results.
  16. Just stubbed my big toe so hard that I think I rebroke it - again. Too bad I need it for my contest tomorrow!
  17. Did another day's worth of painting and I'm feeling sore in muscles that I thought had gone extinct. Probably not the best active rest.
  18. Having a hard time with the whole "resting before a contest" concept, lol. My last workout was a great kettlebell cardio session on Monday.
  19. Going to take a break now and eat some pizza and read a while. Ah, the good things in life!
  20. Resting up for my USAWA Nationals contest on Saturday by painting and doing some light remodeling in our bathroom. Tired of paint fumes!
