  1. Raised an eBay UID earlier, and the buyer's e-mailed to ask for my PayPal e-mail address. Err, I've already sent it plus an invoice to him.
  2. Excellent, I now have one unlocked iPhone. Not that it matters much at the moment as I don't envisage moving from @O2 any time soon…
  3. @adiewoo just to clarify, what I'm suggesting is irrespective of a delay - it's just for the fact they couldn't honour your reserved seat.
  4. @adiewoo if you can be bothered, you should be able to claim ‘compensation for the inconvenience’ according to clause 41 of the NCC.
  5. @adiewoo yeah blates. (All of a sudden I feel like the Armstrong & Miller pilots.)
  6. Just read two e-mails where commas have been used as apostrophes - is this a strange new trend of which I was hitherto unaware?
  7. If anyone's interested, iTunes have one of their comedy TV sales atm - some gems to be had (e.g. IT Crowd s3 for £5) http://j.mp/gtvgp
  8. @assos hmm I want to use it too now it's >12am (though to watch something else) - first time I've ever known it to be down for maintenance.
  9. Excellent, the new Twitter feature I've been most looking forward to - geocoding - is now live, albeit only via the API at present.
  10. Another eBay auction finished, another nutcase winning bidder who, all the signs suggest, will not be paying me.
  11. @csogilvie everyone - the price reduction's for all 3GB customers, and free standard broadband is included too.
  12. Surely one of the best answers ever given on an ask-a-question-about-anything website: www.j.mp/chocolateq
  13. Phew, a 0-feedback eBay auction-winner has paid me for the item after all. Not all eBay newbies are bad then… just most of them.
  14. I find it a tad annoying when eBay buyers downrate my P&P DSR despite me charging the Royal Mail cost price for postage. :/
  15. Ugh, standing in wind and rain or chocking on two smokers' exhaust fumes in the bus shelter. Not a choice I enjoy making.
  16. @adiewoo in-date Creme Eggs are bad enough as it is, let alone six months out-of-date.
  17. In the space of 13 eBay auctions I've had to open three unpaid item disputes - that's a 23% failure rate. Not impressed.
  18. After the briefest of trips to the Post Office: www.j.mp/wetglasses
  19. The epilogue/finale to Les Misérables really must be one of the most beutiful pieces of music ever written.
  20. It's official: Microsoft copied Mac OS X when designing Windows 7. (Well Ok I've added a modicum of rhetoric there.) www.j.mp/copycats
