  1. SM release planned for this morning hit showstopper, reset the release testing process, so with the holiday it's back to next week. Bummer.
  2. @donttrythis Are the shows like Ghost Lab DCI's contribution to science education? Just wondering. =)
  3. Ave Q cast was really bad. Still, the brilliant show overcame them and was fairly good nonetheless.
  4. Off to Boston to see Avenue Q. (Third time in the third city, in fact.)
  5. I feel bad writing emails tearing something apart, but as a business owner, I know I'd rather know about any problems so I could fix it.
  6. UI design of last major undesigned part falling into place. Once implemented, no more huge gaping holes, just the endless detail work.
  7. I do enjoy me some Karma Star, but I wish they'd put out a bugfix to tidy a few small things up. Seems abandoned, though. (Still fun.)
  8. @nivasd Incidentally, you still look very much like you did 10 years ago. =) I might even have recognized you if I talked to you in the st!
  9. @nivasd JavaScript and CSS+HTML are the leading contenders, though one could make cases for things as varied as HTTP even.
  10. It's such a pity that the abominations of technology that underlie the web are taking over apps too. It doesn't have to be like that.
  11. Seriously, if you are—or know—a skilled, competent, and professional Mac-knowledgeable designer, available for work, get in touch with me.
  12. Another flabbergasting graphic designer FAIL. It seems that Photoshop skills are common, yet competency and professionalism are quite rare.
  13. After over 3 hrs of nonstop racquetball, half singles, I'm totally wiped out.
  14. @Ihnatko GPS is receive-only, hence your phone listening to it or not has no impact on airplane functionality.
  15. Picked up my new prescription racquetball goggles. We'll see if it actually helps my game any, or if it's just taking away an excuse.
  16. Clearly it's been a long day when my latest algorithm design is called "edgy ducks." (Sounds like a Ubuntu distro, actually.)
  17. Why, hello, trig! Nice to see you again.
  18. Did anybody ever reverse-engineer the old (good) Exposé algorithm?
  19. Finished my allotted day's work at 11:30. Tempted to say I get the rest of the day off, but will settle for a long lunch—no rest for wicked.
  20. Mac devs: DSReceptionist now on github, blocks-based KVO with added magic of KVO, dependent keys across arrays. http://bit.ly/aFVe2
