  5. Bike is in the shop for a rear hub rebuild so I took the day off. Kind of. :)
  6. Just unsubscribed from the Big and Tall store rewards account and mailing. "You won't be able to undo this" That's the idea, lady.
  7. @barrybrown Actually I've already re-purposed it, sorry man!
  8. New blog post on learning how to walk before trying to run a marathon out of the gate. And how the bike is Good. chubbysuperbiker.com/2012/05/learni…
  9. 5.7 pounds down this week for 107 total in 15 weeks. Uptick this week thanks to 5 solid days bike commuting. Not stopping, ever.
  10. @wessyjone LOL! I was waiting for that comment… lol.
  11. @RutledgeWood Can't wait for the next season, man! Hope they let you loose with a GT500KR in Motown….
  12. Fellow People of Lincoln: Slow down and stop trying to kill me with your car. My life isn't worth 15 seconds shaved off your commute.
  13. My rear hub sounds kind of like a creaking grinding symphony. Guess a rebuild is in my near future, thankfully it's kinda cheap to do..
  14. I've figured out how to tighten barend shifters after installation so they don't always fall out or wobble around. Just call me Edison.
  15. Rear XT hub is getting noisy and wobbly. Wonder if @CycleWorksLNK could get it adjusted quick tomorrow? #
  16. One full week of bike commuting. And it has been Good. Very Very Good. Even the wind, in it's own way, was Good.
  17. "How do you ride in work clothes when it's this hot?". A little more slowly and remembering it could be worse - winter.
  18. @kentsbike Great post! Lately some of my best rides have been in wool slacks, button down shirts, and loafers - no lycra needed!
  19. Going to be a windy scorcher today. I think that's a great excuse to take the long way home.
