  1. Back from 3000 miles, ten days on the road and a mind clearing break that gave me great reading time.
  2. Cathing up on my reading during summer road trip. Grand Canyon was amazing. Hoover Dam terrific, Now in the excess of Las Vegas.
  3. Through Tuscon; 67 miles to the Biltmore in Phoenix. I think it is time for a tropical drink by the swimming pool.

  5. Took a twitter vacation; now taking a real one. Am in New Mexico where we spent the morning at Carlsbad Caverns.

  17. Local barnes and noble has nice display of Collapse of Distinction on their new and notable table.
  18. Oh, and don't read it on a Kindle. Two thirds of the fun is in the color illustrations.
  19. Picked up Orbiting the Giant Hairball by Gordon McKenzie and started re-reading. Anyone who needs creativity boost must read it.
  20. Rent still rocks 13 years later. No wonder it won the Pulitzer Prize.
