@ Doesn't matter what model the HDTV is. As long it has a digital (ATSC) and connect it through the coax, you should be all set.

@ I suggest you go with over-the-air antenna. The picture quality is better compared to what you see on cable. CC works better too.

@ I don't subscribe to cable nor satellite. Instead, I use over-the-air antenna. Superb picture quality and CC works just fine.
