  10. @shazow it sounds like it'll have as much in common with other GNU/Linux distros as Android does, or as OS X does with BSD
  11. @shazow it says that it won't: "The software architecture... new windowing system on top of a Linux kernel." For applications, it says "web"
  12. @shazow most have more than just the kernel in common though (X11, Gnome/KDE, can run same apps...) -- Chrome seems only loosely related
  13. I find it odd that people are referring to Chrome as a "Linux OS," as if it'll have much in common with existing GNU/Linux distributions.

  19. Pet peeve: musicians + URL shorteners -- many think it's cool/useful/tech savvy to use shortened urls in emails, facebook messages, etc...
