  1. @friedenberg Restroke with offset, change of width or whatever you need to get the effect.
  2. @friedenberg Check out the interesting things you can do with layers - even in IB you can add glow.
  3. Working on what I hope will be the last of the 32 UIViewControllers in this project.
  4. It's been Unday for too long. Glad to see Monday arrive to sync everything up.
  5. @eschaton I find many developers who don't use version control, or it they do, don't know how to use it. Employers are culprits too.
  6. @neoneye Why the change? How do the two compare?
  7. I predict the shape, use, and killer app for Apple's tablet device: http://steveweller.com/articles/tablet/ Judge me after January 26 2010.
  8. @scottstevenson We watched that on DVD. I'm sue the HD version is even more spectacular.
  9. #10yearsago and the child and wife count was a lot lower than it is now. Come to think of it, where did the last 10 years go?
  10. #10yearsago It was for a company that was later bought by GE. We made CPU and I/O products for embedded and bus-based equipment
  11. #10yearsago I was a Technical Marketing Manager having bowed out of engineering for something more interesting
  12. #code2009 Objective-C, Objective-C, and more Objective C. Quite a large amount of Objective-C actually.
  13. First Apple bug of the project: text labels offset in a standard UITableViewCell, but only on the device and only if no sub-text used.
  14. Here's a number puzzle for you: http://bit.ly/6vLcA7 It's a long one, so go carefully.
  15. @fraserspeirs I believe so. Crack open the case and suck the data out via the decrypting chip.
  16. @fraserspeirs And don't forget that "wiping" your iPhone does nothing of the sort and is easily worked around...
  17. UITabBarView not resizing for status bar changes: I figured it out. The window must be key [window makeKeyAndVisible] or no autoresizing.
  18. And of course the notifications for status frame size changes are not made, contrary to the docs, so there is no workaround
  19. I have a UITabViewController that is not resizing in response to status bar size changes. Infuriating, since my autoresizing is correct.
  20. First one here at NSCoder night in Campbell.
