  1. @DJDoubleDdotnet are you building a pod for yourself? company? would love to hear more!
  2. @DJDoubleDdotnet wow, nice! yes, we just had 20 delivered for about that much from abroad as well...much cheaper than doing locally one-off
  3. @minamhere we go to great lengths to ensure data is safe, but no explicit liability - submit Backblaze for Business contact if interested
  4. NSA might want some Backblaze storage pods http://bit.ly/1YpcTf
  5. @jamescosta gotcha - ok! well enjoy the service...
  6. @szeller doh! ;-( ...could you send us the version# of Norton and a screenshot of the block? (it's actually Norton's issues vs. Win)
  7. @jamescosta hey james, you can pause backup or tell it to you use less bandwidth if you wish!
  8. @LeviFig sorry, know that bugs a few people and we're actually working on a release to address it...
  9. @jaxzin duly noted...and something we're actively working on!
  10. @jaxzin possible, but not easy. See FAQ 18.
  11. @sfmoe that's pretty quick for 300 GB...you must have a good net connection; congrats and enjoy!
  12. Liked Petabytes on a Budget blog post? Vote for blog.backblaze.com as Best Corporate Blog on Mashable! http://bit.ly/3mjjWx
  13. @simongarlick you hopefully shouldn't need to exclude anything...if you do, just couple folders (excluding lots of small stuff not worth it)
  14. @danbenjamin gotcha. just you're not surprised, our approach is to backup all data automatically - no picking files/folders
  15. @danbenjamin hey dan, thanks for trying out backblaze (in addition to other services)...shout if we can help with anything!
  16. @timwasson glad to hear that $50 for Backblaze is all it took to protect your entire house! ;-)
  17. @ryanbrill since you don't have to pay for software license per pc, Backblaze works out cheaper unless you have lots of pc's for couple yrs
  18. @iansltx if the folder is really local, yes; if it is a folder shared from another drive, no.
  19. @stevo81989 plug in at least once every few weeks...your files are totally safe; if not, we delete after a month
  20. @macdoctors possibly...need to have at least 5 employees in a company (not doable & not really valuable for less)
