  1. @cygri I'm with you on this point. Redefining commonly understood terms to include your own work is confusing and very bad practice.
  2. http://www.mementoweb.org/t... Documentation and #python code for building Memento Proxies.
  3. @rossmcf :D Am trying to get JISC on board with the idea, don't worry! Hopefully they'll even pay for me to come
  4. @dchud Nope, had to look. I only got 3 without looking
  5. @andymcg @ostephens Definitely! Would love to see a Memento comp at #dev8D! Much too much to say in 140 chrs, will email about it :)
  6. @psychemedia Wouldn't that result in no government?
  7. @lorcanD and new version with voiceover coming next week!
  8. @gluejar Who knows how much reasoning can be done when you *link* datasets together? That's the beauty of linked data.
  9. 1500 uses of Memento web demo so far, downloaded 3 gigabytes of data. Time to clear the caches!
  10. @BekiTyler hehe okay :D
  11. @edsu "If you're gonna build a time machine, why not do it with style?"
  12. (ignoring the grammatical and factual errors in the popsci title ... let's != lets, and it's not about search... any press is good press?)
  13. Popular Science likes Memento too: http://www.popsci.com/techn...
  14. Teppanyaki to celebrate New Scientist write up was gooood! Osaka bar & grill in Santa fe (sorry for food tweet!)
  15. Memento Project write up in New Scientist: http://bit.ly/4fEfW8
  16. @edsu Also doing a presentation about Memento at CNI in DC. http://www.cni.org/tfms/200...
  17. @dancohen MMSitDA is a course, not a conference :( Would love to go tho, Michelle Brown (ex BL) is very good!
  18. @gluejar conflating simple Dublin core and #linkeddata is rather disingenuous. Like saying XML is bad because marc XML is like marc.
  19. @ostephens you'd use open URL in our timegate entity if I understand. That's almost certainly fine :) just add a couple headers to response
  20. @rachelbruce @edsu thank /you/ for your interest! Any questions, please feel free :)
