  1. Shirred eggs... twitter.com/axbl/status/20…
  2. @thesusan long, though it is supposed to warm up a bit
  3. @tobiashieta yeah! Based on the fact that I don't actually know when wwdc is :-)
  4. @seanlerner @LMManson no. Not a bummer, it's called realizing what a cesspool that place is.
  5. gnu.org/software/emacs…
  6. [...] this is the only method of extension which is practical in use: others are [...] good but discourage [(nontrivial) use.]
  7. The user extends EMACS by adding or replacing functions, writing their definitions in the same language that was used to write [...] EMACS.
  8. @seanlerner dude, you graduated. Time to stop.
  9. @ethanschoonover hoping it doesn't harm my friends or myself but I want this bubble to pop so we can get onto the next bad trend
  10. @ethanschoonover I was joking about how the next startup will be a social network for social network engineers the other day...
  11. @TokenScandi @obra yeah, the WebAPI stuff is mostly intended for @Boot2Gecko
  12. @ethanschoonover that was the awesome thing with WebOS, without doing anything palm/HP didn't explain you could modify almost any app
  13. @ethanschoonover probably so :-) I just want a open hackable but stable platform B2G actually has View Source!
  14. @ethanschoonover I'm also a WebOS fan boy
  15. @ethanschoonover I actually have a nexus s sitting around, considering trying a few weeks of B2G. Still Linux but really positive ideas
  16. @ethanschoonover yeah, and I think a real UI on symbian kernel is possible too, but Nokia killed that brave Qt future.
  17. @ethanschoonover I feel like symbian was more stable too. I still question if Linux is the best choice for a hyper stable realtime device
  18. And the UI may not have been pretty or touch based, but Symbian never crashed or rebooted on me, didn't auto reject calls, battery lasted...
