  1. A pillow case inside a pillow case & then fill with 15 random objects. Tie the top & then let the kids feel what's inside & guess the items!
  2. Do you do little Xmas Eve prezzies to get them upstairs to bed? Like new cute toothbrush or pillow slip or new book. Can do the trick well!
  3. Oh, just had hugs & Christmas whispers with my nieces & nephews & on Friday saw my pal's little lad in the Nativity. NOW it's Christmas!
  4. If money is short, give home made vouchers to friends & family eg A Cake Of Your Choice.... or 20 minute Back Massage.... or Hoovering!
  5. Try to avoid Xmas by threat (eg Santa won't visit if you do that)....!
  6. Hey, isn't it time to be writing the letters to Santa? If you write on loo paper split into only 1 ply...it will float up with fire smoke.

  8. NB you can give 'vouchers' for Xmas to the children - eg Voucher for Supper of your choice....or Voucher for staying up 1 hour past bedtime

  10. If we parent by criticism, eventually the children stop listening to us. It doesn't matter if you're "right" - just swap nagging for praise!
  11. Remember, it's not you versus your #children (even tho' some days it can feel that way)...you are all on the same side!

  19. Do remind the children about not picking up fireworks that don't appear to be going off....because they cld just be delayed in their firing.
