  1. Dragon Age: Origins Xbox 360 Review Error
  2. @bradshoemaker Yeah, the Rumsfeld quotes in there show that IW was doing some negative commentary on today's military intelligence, too.
  3. RT @vomethod: quote of the day: "Yeah your MOM doesn't handle threading safely on sys.stderr.write()s from external processes"
  4. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com is a great compromise of form and function. Can't say the same for the WoW Armory, though...
  5. Why is almost every video game site made by a major publisher filled with bloated and annoying Flash? Is it too much to ask for some HTML?
  6. New Mass Effect 2 box art (http://tr.im/FaZC) is better than the old (http://tr.im/FaYk); Collector's Ed's still the best: http://tr.im/FaZu
  7. Yeah, I'm aware, and I am also surprised that it's only 3x. Frankly, that seems good for indy developers, small publishers, and reviewers.
  8. @hatchetjob Admittedly, you add in the cost of E3 + hosting events for journalists, it's more, but still way less than mass media ads.
  9. @hatchetjob Only 3x as much? What does it cost to send 100 review copies of a game out? Compare it to a 30 second prime time network spot.
  10. Gratuitous Space Battles Review http://tinyurl.com/yl2a72y
  11. Namco Museum DS Review (Fake) Error
  12. RT @ryanblock: I could watch this insanely crazy MW2 video on repeat all afternoon: http://bit.ly/3mhmt4
  13. @hatchetjob For whatever reason, DJ'ing did go out of style as a way to make music, and it doesn't seem like DJ Hero offers a solution.
  14. @hatchetjob I can't imagine that marketing working on people who have played music games before. The DJ Hero controller is still plastic.
  15. @hatchetjob I could see it if people actually cared about the plastic instruments, but to most they're just cheap, breakable toys.
  16. @hatchetjob Agreed. I also think the game needs to drop to $99 right now, then $79, if Activision wants a sequel to work.
  17. @hatchetjob That article alleges a "low margin" on plastic instruments, but sale prices knock half off. Pretty sure the margin is fine.
  18. Intel has a factory in Jerusalem and Hassidic Jews are protesting because it's operating on Saturdays. Why would you do that, Intel?
