  8. Recovering from surgery - as unpleasant as that may be, it allows me to receive the gifts of the people who love me.

  13. I've been typing so much, my fingertips are sore. Been a long time since I did that, but I am catching up on lots of correspondence.
  14. What a spectacular amount of clearing has been accomplished - even my dissertation research has been shredded and recycled - I feel lighter!
  15. The act of clearing clutter (end of year is a good time to do it) results in a mental release that is unthinkably joyous and lightening.
