  1. @jezdez http://github.com/rentzsch/...
  2. @nattokirai I have no idea. Web Designers should just make sure they use Fonts with a small file size.
  3. @bartTC The FF transition could be smoother. But it depends on the font file size. The WebKit approach is only good for small font files.
  4. @nattokirai But the transition could be smoother. Changing the font when someone is still reading the text doesn't seem right.
  5. Seems like WebKit won't show any text until a new font-face is downloaded http://bit.ly/dbykc. Firefox renders with standard fonts first.
  6. @younork Aber hell war es oder? Bei uns war es randvoll, stickig, warm und wir hatten kein Licht im Zug (fährt unterirdisch)
  7. Every time an article from @zedshaw shows up on HN, the comments are more about his personality than the problem described in the article.
  8. Visualization of real-time firefox downloads: http://bit.ly/BYhJ0. Looks great. But why are there dolphins in the background?
  9. @patroqueeet What was the problem?
  10. @jespern Yes, for quite a while now. Any recommendations? :-)
  11. Has anyone played around with Bitten (http://bitten.edgewall.org/) yet? It's a Trac extension for continuous integration that looks _great_.
  12. 1kg of this year's first flush Darjeeling arrived. Tastes great!
  13. iTunes on Windows is nothing like the Mac version. It really sucks.
  14. @simonw Man you're right. They even have 8 members. I'll check before opening my mouth next time ;-)
  15. I'm off to write my first exam this semester: analysis. Let the games begin.
  16. @simonw Afaik Microsoft is the only major browser vendor who hasn't send a representative to work with the W3C on the HTML5 spec.
  17. Mercurial 0.1 had 6.2K in size. The 1.3 release has 1.7MB. Good to see the project evolving: http://mercurial.selenic.co...
  18. XHTML 2 is dead. But HTML 5 will include an XML serialization of HTML ("XHTML5").
  19. Oops, I forgot to turn Time Machine back on a few weeks ago. Can't even remember why I turned it off in the first place.
  20. Received a copy of Django 1.0 Template Development. Will read and review it after I finish The Paradox of Choice (which is very good).
