  5. T - CBP has authority to hold and CPSC has authority to destroy.
  6. What authority do you have to stop at port?
  7. T - Yes. As of Oct 1, will have access to Customs data
  8. Stupak - are you planning to increase your port enforcement and coordination with other agencies?
  9. T - Statute requires it.
  10. Why? Since there are no death or injuries.
  11. T - No. Industry has told CPSC that they can make components in question inaccessible
  12. Stupak - does CPSC have recording of deaths from lead in ATVs and motorcycles?
  13. T - no cases to date where AGs have gotten ahead of CPSC. Asked AGs to give CPSC time to work thru issues
  14. T - common sense approach, regular contact with State AGs on policies
  15. Sarbanes - how do you see statement of policy with tracking labels going forward?
  16. T - most of issue will be resolved by end of stay
  17. Radanovich - will you have enough time to deal with issue by end of stay?
  18. T - get info to consumers even in store, through mobile phones/twitter
  19. T - yes. Products should be regulated but are not. Doing rulemaking now. Drawstrings?
