@ Dropbox is free up to 2 GB. It makes syncing across computers simple. JungleDisk is also very good. Mozy third.

@ Buy VMware Fusion 3. It's very polished, stable, and you have access to a library of pre-made VMs (mostly Unix and Linux).

I had a 9-month-old Seagate drive fail on me. However, Seagate replaced it without hassle—I just received a new drive from them in the mail.
