  17. I found out today that my novel, Beautiful Wreck, was a semi-finalist in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Contest. What a way not to win!
  18. Watched nine year old get some many awards at school today. Yeah Ella! She got the Honor Roll for the whole year. Straight A's.
  19. working on new short story. Why do I keep writing these? No one publishes collections anymore. Oh well. Gotta do what I gotta do.
