@ Not to blow your mind but another approach is to use Custom Post Types, which PowerPress supports on a per-podcast-channel basis.

@ Sounds like you don't like this answer, but I would create 2 channels for your category and use them only for that category.

@ The only reason you cannot have channels in categories is it would create a matrix of options, way complicated.

@ I see, just be aware you can't have multiple media files in 1 item in 1 feed. Take a look at the channels feature + categories.
