  1. 3 formative albums: The Partridge Family Sound Magazine, In the Court of the Crimson King, The Lexicon of Love #3albums
  2. RT @NedRaggett: Yup RT @charlienumber4 Completely batshit insane interview with Mark Shaw of Then Jericho, of all people, on @TheQuietus ...
  3. @lisajanepersky I can't let your Poseidon Adventure misquote go uncorrected: "This is Shaft Alley! Nowhere is the steel hull thinner!"
  4. @betheboy @andrewvdill @efd Many thanks!
  5. Binks Floyd #starwarsbandnames
  6. They gave me a free set of plastic Blackest Night power rings at the comic book store. Only problem: I'm not 8 years old.
  7. @AuntieChristina Taste: about the same. Texture: takes a little getting used to.
  8. @bob_ham I think the original "Fall In A Hole" CD supposedly had that problem. Never heard it.
  9. @bob_ham I do my quasi-tangible best.
  10. @mackromackro ...and, yeah, Cleopatra, among other crimes against aesthetics.
  11. @mackromackro Also: all the EMI UK stuff they destroyed with heavy-handed noise reduction; 80's Virgin catalog that was taken from vinyl...
  12. @mackromackro This is a topic I could rant about for days, but to pick just one: the Lennon/Plastic Ono Band remix from '00. An abomination.
  13. @bob_ham It's not common; I've run across maybe 2 other copies in the last 7 or 8 years. But if I see it again, I'll grab it for you.
  14. @RetroManNYC Yes! The other sequences simply do not work AT ALL.
  15. @oldmanwall "Jolly, jolly good, Stephans..."
  16. @bob_ham It...uh...leaves little to the imagination. Here's a photo of Rod just after he autographed my copy: http://www.twitpic.com/qavk9
  17. @mackromackro I've heard worse, too, but these were clearly taken from bad dupes w/technical problems (cf. pitch wobble at start of Phase3).
  18. @absurdemest The 1977-79 episodes of SCTV (pre-Rick Moranis, pre-90 minute format) are uniformly stunning, viz.: http://bit.ly/6P45d9
  19. @editaurus This might be what you're thinking of: http://bit.ly/4WvXOz (but it's not as good as the Rod McKuen disco album)
  20. @mackromackro The remastered (not remixed) CD of The Plan c.2000 is competent; the UK Plan/CH twofer from last year = not so hot, sadly.
