  1. @ldodds yes - clearly distinct as far as I recall - and very unhelpful to mix up imho - must admit that i've not looked at specs recently
  2. @ldodds huh? surely not... (bad memories of long discussions around dc:subject)
  3. @lindsayjordan wot... you mean you and @PatParslow aren't the same person? shock, horror!
  4. @nicoleharris now that's a lycra outfit i wouldn't particularly like to see
  5. @Lawrie lucky sod - it's my 365 later - expect at least a "wow, amazing, congrats"
  6. @lukask in swap- http://bit.ly/5jvZtE -we modeled all 4 frbr entities (with different labels) -worked well but generally found to be complex
  7. @hvdsomp also agree that my characterisation of 'digital libraries vs the rest' is unhelpful
  8. @hvdsomp yes, agreed - have seen the same, particularly concerning the uri
  9. RT @tore: interesting #mlr frw disc going on at the CETIS-METADATA JISCMAIL list - yes is a problem the doc is reluctant to cite RDF, URI
  10. @lukask interesting - but is it really a *frbr* work if the rest of frbr isn't adopted into the model - i think not?
  11. "let's power a house using 80 cyclists" (on uk tv last night) was quite a nice idea but let down by stupid power' analogies all the way thru
  12. odd that the twitter page for an individual tweet (e.g. http://bit.ly/8wbBse) carries very few links - no next, prev, replies, retweets, ...
  13. ...but pleased to have worked the phrase "i like big buts and i cannot lie" into blog comment
  14. @adrianstevenson have written the talk up - "on being niche" http://bit.ly/5EJbId - to try and clarify my thinking (it may not help!)...
  15. @jamesclay i think the aim of openid has been to support as many ids as are necessary - but in my case it's just an accident of history
  16. @tillk yes :-) - as it turns out, i'm not the person associated with our openid foundation membership and it had expired anyway! :-)
  17. i'm wanting to vote in the current openid foundation poll but i can't remember which of my openids is associated with my membership #fail
  18. @nicoleharris thanks - i appreciate your thoughtfulness
  19. wow... #eduPersonTargetedID is hot topic in my email inbox today - if i knew what it was i might even be interested! :-) #ukamf
  20. @adrianstevenson if you are accusing me of re-hashing old presentations then you'd be right - i call it 're-use' (which is good, right?)
