  1. @mkrenz Yes, it's weird actually, because tomorrow is listed as a rain date, but it went off anyway.
  2. @kmakice True. I ended up going, it was wet, but fun. Not many people there though -- maybe more then expected given the rain, but still.
  3. Watching the fireworks in a light rain.
  4. @kmakice I have heard that the people running the fireworks have a conflict for tomorrow so it is tonight or bust.
  5. Thinking the rain today is going to mean no fireworks in B-town this evening.
  6. @EatMeerkats me too... seems far away and I'd need to move fast!
  7. Road 11.8 miles according to Google Maps: http://bit.ly/GPJuj
  8. Back from a nice bicycle ride. I added a rear rack yesterday and I seem to have bolted it on well, now to get bag(s) for it :)
  9. Quite a thunderstorm to start the morning!
  10. 'Tis a dark and stormy DAY in Bloomington.
  11. Glad the crazy rain let up long enough to catch the bus!
  12. Really beautiful night in Bloomington tonight.
  13. Hello 4:00 AM, nice to see you. Did you know you are also 8:00 AM GMT. The things you learn submitting academic papers.
  14. Ugh. Feeling like I spent all afternoon snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
  15. Being an academic is a strange business.
  16. Good/Bad day. Good: found/fixed bug. Bad: no paper writing/eliminated paper idea/new code ugly/less efficient. Ugh.
  17. Heading for coffee, then lots of writing today. See if I can explain my crazy macro in some way that makes sense.
  18. Went to pick up large cardboard box in the middle of the parking lot, but a minivan hit it first, pushed it to the next parking lot! Whoops!
  19. @jack Me too, badly. One of these days I need to find someplace in Bloomington to go.
  20. Wishing Mac's Mail.app supported adding tags to email messages so I could organize a few conversations.
