  1. Decisions, decisions...Bright Eyes or Mull of Kintyre
  2. How wrong would it be to buy the Watership Down song Bright Eyes from iTunes?
  3. For @jamesb - The worn smooth shadow of gold, the scratchy click of the wind up wheel, the ticking, sweeping hand. Speak memory of the dead.
  4. @jamesb No. You're missing the point. Think of what we have lost. Authenticity, mechanics, questions of reliability. @rattlecentral - "Swim"
  5. Winding my watch up
  6. @frankieroberto Can I add the road where I chipped my front tooth to your Treasures of the East Midlands map?
  7. @blowupchurch Hmm...strike Cloud Atlas then and replace with Never Let Me Go or if you are feeling krazy try Valis (gave me a headache).
  8. @aden_76 The door was open!
  9. @blowupchurch Recommended books? I usually suggest W.G Sebald, Pale Fire or that Cloud Atlas chap.
  10. @blowupchurch If you've seen the film then there is no risk. It is an outstanding read. Hideous in it's extremes, poetic in it's delivery.
  11. @blowupchurch The Road? A holiday read! please reconsider. I'm having disturbed dreams after I spent hours on Sunday reading it.
  12. Wrapping a span around an exclamation mark. Please don't shoot me.
  13. Ten more Raspberry canes bought locally at a decent price without having to scour the internet.
  14. Reading The Road. Grim. Thanks @jamesb
  15. Having watched The Reader am now in a debate about conflict, shame, morals and the whole war bit. Where are my slippers?
  16. A proud plug for Ugly Beauty, an art documentary on BBC 2 at 8:45pm tomorrow. Filmed by my good friend Andrew Kemp.
  17. @saulcozens @teroV @thegreatgonzo - It seems tea bags contain a small amount of polyester pvc or polypropylene fibres http://bit.ly/O0K7i
  18. Shock news. Tea bags aren't compostable? Can this be true? Oh! the humanity...
  19. First Direct's Internet Banking Plus doesn't support a Mac or Firefox but does support IE6? Suprising.
  20. An hour lost looking for a ten digit number that I'm now convinced I've never had. Thank you HRMC.
