  1. @themickcooper It wouldn't be the only comedy night like that.
  2. @frizfrizzle According to one of the comics involved: www.is.gd/4RTRZ Seems nasty to do that to stand-ups then enter the trade yourself.
  3. @frizfrizzle At least, I'm told they did. I can't read their forum and neither can Google.
  4. @frizfrizzle They really didn't. They put up the comics' email addresses and encouraged users to complain at them.
  5. @jameshitchcock Only one way to find out.
  6. @frizfrizzle So it's... a normal comedy night? And to be fair, I thought Sikipedia handled the whole joke-theft issue *really* badly.
  7. @frizfrizzle No, of course it's users who submit stolen jokes who are at fault. That's why you write a set instead of reading out a website.
  8. @frizfrizzle Just seems a bit cocky to me, running a comedy night with jokes from a site you know steals jokes from comedy nights.
  9. I thought about going to the Sikipedia comedy night, but I've already seen Gary Delaney's show.
  10. @aPaulTaylor Er, sure, if that scores extra.
  11. 'Crop Circles' would be a good name for a breakfast cereal.
  12. @grabcocque I'd have thought Easter Island would be enough for them. We needed a Weird Statue Non-Proliferation Treaty. Now it's too late.
  13. Ah, the fire alarm has stopped. Either that was a test, or it's melted. I'm rather banking on the former.
  14. @grabcocque Unless Christmas announces it is prepared to withdraw its troops by 11AM, a state of war will exist between us.
  15. Today, I did something unusual and someone I've never met recognised it and joined in and now I love them. MLIA.
  16. @drivelcast It's a tactical strike to his weapon array.
  17. @carmenego Legally, TM is pretty meaningless, so I imagine nobody has any reason to stop them
  18. Murdoch furious BBC are quoting him. "They're my words," he said, "out of my mouth. I own them. They must pay." (via @rodri, @bloggerheads)
  19. @Glinner I think I've seen a personal ad that said "Utterly terrifying, grimly pressimistic, erotic, funny, sad."
  20. Most pointless feature in Google Wave: click the drop-down menu next to "all" in the navigation panel and choose a colour.
