  1. Get the #FreeM30Reverb (VST/AU) from TC Electronic - http://bit.ly/1lAkw0 - Thanks TC :-)
  2. Puzzling over my tweet "Recorded sextet"… What I meant was (that I recorded a ) recorder sextet. Six flutes, OK? ;-)
  3. Having a look at mixing in surround within Reaper, and not as I am used to using the routing of my ULN-8.
  4. Back from recording two overlapping concerts. A recorded sextet + lute at 6 and Brahms' Deutsches Requiem at 8. Lots of running required :-)
  5. Just came accross http://www.lightstalkers.org/ This looks like an interesting crowd. I wonder if there are any audio people involved?
  6. With all the rendering I'm doing currently the new Quad-Core iMac's look quite interesting.
  7. It's good to know Final Cut Pro defaults to 16bit audio when rendering to HDV (using what dither?)--as well as less than top quality motion!
  8. Rendering all edited scenes to disk in HDV-format.
  9. …and also camera movement. Cutting from a static frame to fluid movement / a zoom often necessitates "smoothing out" the transition.
  10. Nearly done editing Akhnaten. This took way longer than other video projects, caused by the the presence of beautiful projections.
  11. Editing Akhnaten--again and still ;-)
  12. Sometimes I want to overlay one camera angle over another. That takes the worst toll renderingwise…
  13. Met a mobile recording collegue for coffee this morning. It was fun :-) Back to editing Akhnaten…
  14. Video Editing my recording of Glass' Echnaton in Berlin. Coming to appreciate an even faster processor while waiting on the rendering…
  15. @Marantzguy Ah, audience noise on recordings… Luckily it has only really bothered me once or twice.
  16. @lirontocker Yay
  17. @avior Thanks :-)
  18. Again I realize that recording sound for me is more of an intuitive art than a craft.
  19. I wonder when MacFUSE (http://code.google.com/p/ma...) was installed on my system. I can't recall doing so! Sounds interesting though.
  20. Evaluating a collegues mix of wavegarden (crystal singing bowls, waveharps, voc & flute) while bouncing a CD.
