  1. Sharing a bowl of Cheerios and bananas with Ainsley.
  2. I love being in the kitchen. Even if it's just to work out some leftovers and oven fries. Except for the endless mess, I love it.
  3. Scott has been doing yard work since 9 a.m. The yard looks vacuumed it's so tidy. Ainsley's down for a nap. Time to clean up the house.
  4. Played at the park. There were 25 preschoolers there. Ainsley was enthralled. I was overwhelmed. So glad we got out of there injury free.
  5. A morning of warm blueberry pancakes and eggs, Vince Guaraldi Christmas music, Sesame Street, and jumping.
  6. No nap for Ainsley. Unloaded tons of stuff at Goodwill. Scott is home today not feeling well. There are smashed Cheerios everywhere.
  7. Gramma GG and Pop Pop are visiting again today. Ainsley has been napping for almost 3 hours. She'll be well rested when the get here.
  8. Black Bean Soup in the works.
  9. Cleaning out the fridge and loving the autumn scent of 5 apple varieties in the crisper: McIntosh, Wealthy, Fireside, SweeTango, Haralson.
  10. Ainsley just sniffed teeny tiny flowers on a return address label.
  11. Ainsley took a LONG nap. Too bad I didn't do the same.
  12. Ainsley's napping after our brisk morning walk. She loved watching the swirling leaves and our shadows stretching out on the pavement.
  13. Apple-eating, pillow-throwing, window-looking, book-reading, bath-taking, box-emptying, knee-hugging, rug-sitting Ainsley Ruth. I love you!
  14. Cleaned out the garden and flower beds. Scott has both garage door openers, so raking and further clean up will have to wait. Mmm...dirt.
  15. Walked past a GIANT inflatable Mickey Mouse (dressed as a vampire) on the way home. Also visited the neighbor and her jack-o-lanterns.
  16. Story time at library lasted 5 minutes. Then Ainsley wandered the library and wrestled the giant teddy bear while I selected new books.
  17. Ainsley's incoming molars and eye teeth, combined with a stormy night, means we are pretty tired. Well... maybe Ainsley's not tired.
  18. *Ainsley* (I know how to spell my daughter's name. Really, I do.)
  19. insley found a dead house plant under the sink. She's taken it upon herself to relocate the dirt. One handful at a time.
  20. Thursday = Girls' Night. Cleaned the oven (thanks, baking soda and green scrubby). Roasting pumpkin seeds and veggies (thanks, Farm.Market).
