  5. Reading "La virgen de los sicarios" by Fernando Vallejo. Colombian. Intense.
  6. Revisiting Sor Juana's "Respuesta a Sor Filotea de la Cruz". A master piece!
  7. Reading "Como agua para chocolate" again. It's just delicious :)
  8. Reading "El laberinto de la soledad" by Octavio Paz. Very interesting essay about mexican culture. I have a class presentation for tomorrow.
  9. I just cooked my first batch of homemade "chilaquiles" in years. I can't believe how good they were!!! =)
  10. Domingo Faustino Sarmiento and his "Facundo" keep inspiring the most fascinating debates regarding Latinamerica's culture and history.
  11. Tonight I start reading "La nave de los locos" by Cristina Peri Rossi. Looking forward to it.

  13. I have to finish "El cantar del Mio Cid" by tomorrow! First time I read it in modern Castillian. Read it once in old Spanish for a class.
