I find a xp disc. 1. Install xp; 2. Download gentoo and install it in vmware; 3. Boot gentoo from hd; 4. Del xp partition.

I have a gentoo live cd 2005 and a LFS boot cd in my hand. Gentoo says the kernel is too old. And I do not want to LFS. What should I do?

Just boot the live cd in vmware, and continue watching anim, about 10 mins later, windows show me the blue screen.

Ubuntu sucks. I install it in vmware, to a partition of phys disk. Start live cd from iso file, then it ruins my hard disk - automatically.
