  1. Drinking sea salt caramel hot chocolate and catching up on Gossip Girl while baby naps-- bliss!
  2. @OceanGal The list of BBYA noms has definitely lengthened my to-read list quite a bit! Can't wait to dig in to some of these...
  3. Am still leisurely immersing myself in turn-of-the-century Minnesota via the Betsy-Tacy reissues. Swooning over Betsy and Joe at the moment!
  4. With a new job comes a whole new collection to weed. Yay! I love weeding, I really do. Best way to get familiar with a collection.
  5. @lalieen Thanks for the good wishes- the new position is great so far! Lots to learn.
  6. A useful snapshot of what's current in tween/teen pop culture: the Just So You Know Awards. http://tinyurl.com/yhbn6bv
  7. Getting ideas for teen summer reading at #cla09! Lots of recycled crafts to go with water theme - very environmentally friendly.
  8. Hard to believe I'm planning baby's 1st bday already! Am utterly delighted with the invites I ordered from http://www.inababycarriage.com
  9. Happy birthday, Internet! http://bit.ly/3YK3js

  12. RT @teralynnchilds Publisher's Weekly dishes on what teen readers *really* want. http://bit.ly/1mJ3bM (Many watch book trailers- cool!)
  13. @MelissaZD Thanks for the good wishes!
  14. Am taking the leap from children's to young adult services soon, and today I did my very last storytime. It was a good one!
  15. @lalieen My question is: why are they chewing food while checking out books, anyway?!
  16. Introduced a Narnia fan to the Prydain books- two series that are forever linked for me. I read them both repeatedly through grade school.
  17. Prepping for book group discussion on @rebstead's WHEN YOU REACH ME; finding $20K Pyramid clips to show. So cool! I'd never seen it before.
  18. @jpetroroy Kids here ask for Pokemon books ALL THE TIME. They weren't even born when the show first aired! Very retro.
  19. Making a Jeopardy game for the Wizards vs Vampires library event. Put in a question about Sesame Street's Count! HA HA HA HA *lightning*
  20. @jpetroroy I always like weeding- it's kind of refreshing!
