  1. @kristicw Lots to share with you but I gotta sleep. Crazy loud concert dowtown may make that tough.
  2. Had very rich, long conversations & prayer with friends & family tonight.
  3. Had very informative meetings with the Ugandan guys about Toro culture, misunderstandings, places of common ground. We're so different.
  4. Preparing to visit a primary & high school near Fort Portal where some of the locals work. Torn: I want to go, but my nephews are bummed.
  5. @i_analyst - Really hope to connect with you in Kigali - many questions for you re: corruption & society, etc.
  6. Agog at this sight - you will not believe. Will post photo soon if possible.
  7. Had breakfast with a million ants today. The kids say, "This is not a crisis. In America, it's a crisis. In Uganda, not so much."
  8. @kristicw Miss you hon! Really feeling very happy just visiting with people, that's been the best part. Need to see more Martins though. XOX

  10. .@beaconhillnw LOL that should have been, "bugs". I dreamt of bugs. Not big ones, either.
  11. @photographworks Ugandans blew away my preconceived notions about Africans and who they really are. Still learning lots.
  12. Something that never ceases to amaze me when I visit Uganda is how intelligent the people are. Sharp, insightful minds.
  13. Slept hard, dreamt of bigs and food. Headed to Mugusu market with the Ft. Portal crew. Recovering.
  14. Soo great to see Jeff, Cheryl (who laughs at all my jokes), Tibbles & my niece & nephews. 'Night.
  15. At the footsteps of the Rwenzori Mtns., getting close to Ft. Portal. Utterly spent. Haven't eaten in 24 hrs.
  16. In Kasese. Sweaty, numb, dried out like old jerky.
  17. In Kitchwamba, at the edge of Queen Elizabeth Park. Relentless pounding in the back!
  18. Sitting with my man Rajab on a matatu for Ft. Portal. Sleep well!
  19. Ntoroko, Uganda - a crossroads. Hot, dry, hungry. MTN phone not working.
  20. At the Gatuna border crossing. Waiting outside for visa. Freezing!!
