  1. ICYMI: Notes on the Notre Dame lawsuit #prolife #contraception #bc4us #fem2 #p2
  2. Abortion debate would be more useful if we didn't try to shoehorn everyone into exactly 2 positions & purge all the impure.
  3. But we're working hard to make sure you DO.
  4. But you never hear from those people. Anti-contraception anti-abortionists work hard to make sure you don't. Believe me, I know.
  5. I mean, obviously, with 89% saying contraception is morally acceptable, a LOT of antiabortion people must think so. We've seen that before
  6. I would love to see those figures.
  7. Wonder if this poll correlated people who think birth control is morally acceptable & people who think abortion isn't is.gd/1zlIrP
  8. I don't have the answers here -- just thinking out loud.
  9. Do people think that if you are pro-contraception, that makes you pro-choice? I see some advocacy groups on both sides conflate the two.
  10. Those are the kinds of polls I would like to see.
  11. Do people think "pro-life" means a total ban on abortion, or just more legal status for unborn than currently exists? Or something else?
  12. Do people think "pro-choice" means abortion is always legal, or simply that it is not banned?
  13. Link to the Gallup poll: gallup.com/poll/154838/Pr…
  14. Curious about what people think the labels "prochoice" and "prolife" mean and how that has been changing over time.
  15. What's interesting about that Gallup poll going around is that people's opinions about abortion haven't changed much, but self IDs have.
  16. @AdamSerwer Of course, if pro-life orgs claim only way to be pro-life is total ban, they shouldn't claim majority either.
