  1. @suddenlyjamie It's not really new, just a revised plan for the last chunk (am 75% of the way through writing it) ... but thanks! :-)
  2. Happy that my lovely project editor approved new plan for Part V of "Publishing e-Books for Dummies" (now with extra added awesome) :-)
  3. @tastelifetwice Thanks, glad you like them! :-)
  4. New post on Aliventures, with pics of my brand new mini-cards! Writing Inspiration: Six Mini-Cards to Get You Thinking bit.ly/K8rLkx
  5. @BillHarper Yes, I loved *On Writing* for that - very easy to read! I'm not such a fan of his fiction (just doesn't "click" with me somehow)
  6. @BillHarper I love that too; it's definitely my goal when I write. I think the words shouldn't get in the way of the message...
  7. @PartyBizConnect And if getting feedback, asking people "what did you skip?" or "where did you lose focus?" can work.
  8. @PartyBizConnect I think about what *I* skip. (e.g. descriptive passages in novels, long-winded intros in non-fic.) I'm an impatient reader!
  9. Great writing advice --> "I leave out the parts that people skip." - Elmore Leonard #writing #quotes
  10. @FiveStopStory Really glad you enjoyed it! And if any questions crop up, you know where to find me... :-)
  11. Best. Fan. Email. Ever! "Is it bad that i'm already thinking up a fanfiction based on your novel?" #Lycopolis :-) :-)
  12. @jadecraven I think @samarowais reaction is the one that the vast majority of people will have! But you wanted feedback. ;-) xx
  13. @jadecraven @andrewghayes of the religious angle as I've (a) been flamed by atheists and (b) have some very religious family members.
  14. @jadecraven @andrewghayes It's a really good title in many ways (hey, if it's good enough for copyblogger... ;-)) I'm just a bit hyper-aware
  15. @jadecraven I don't think it's a big deal, just that it might be worth running the title past a few different peeps for reactions.
  16. @jadecraven Also, for me, content doesn't quite match the title. (There's no "thou shalt..." "thou shalt not...") See copyblogger.com/landing-page-1…
  17. @jadecraven Well, I'm Christian, and it doesn't offend me personally! Here in the UK, probably not a big deal. In the US, I dunno.
  18. @andrewghayes @jadecraven I'm indifferent to the title, but you risk being offputting to atheists AND to some religious people.
  19. @jadecraven I think it looks great! Only thing I might change is to bump the text size up very slightly.
