  1. "Don't you know there ain't no devil, there's just God when he's drunk." - Tom Waits
  2. Watched the rock & roll hall of fame performances on HBO. I thought the best combination was Springsteen with Tom Morello.
  3. Two terms confused when someone is making an argument: probability versus possibility.
  4. I like it. Easier than alcohol. RT @lizf blame it on the genes is going to be my new favorite line.
  5. @lizf It's that type of stuff that reminds you any type of deranged humor you hold close is at least genetic.
  6. Family weekends come with their surprises. My grandmother told me she's an avid online scrabble player using the pen name 'scrabblebitch.'
  7. @anulman The combination would be impeccably fucking hipster.
  8. @chaitters The sample(s) have been used, I believe. Full thing would be tight though.
  9. My Sunday Q: Why does a Temptations remix album not exist? I'm not saying I'd like it, or it would do the Temps any justice. Just surprised.
  10. Maturity: It isn't that he knows it all, but he suddenly realizes that he doesn't know it all.
  11. I have found 'skepticism' to be a more valuable trait than 'predictionism' in starting a company.
  12. High school follies: The quiet but dysfunctional girl that used to argue about feminism & Steinback in my English class is now a stripper.
  13. @anulman I heard it was great. Looking forward to your 140 character review.
  14. @tdhurst It's because it's the easiest thing to do. Less thinking, more copy / pasting.
  15. Having said that, and while I'm guilty of it, Twitter could be more interesting w/ out link sharing. Less markety, more originality.
  16. The first thing I look at when deciding to follow someone is high originality of tweets (linkless) vs. tweets with links.
  17. Instead of 'trying,' Michael Corleone promises 'as much as a man can guarantee against fate.' Same thing, but the latter is pure eloquence.
  18. After recommending the book 'Parliament of Whores' to my grandfather, his response was simply "with a title like that, it's got to be good."
  19. Trying Tweetie for a few days. Tweetdeck was getting annoying. First impression is that the Tweetie interface is nicer.
  20. @VisualAlchemy If you own the market, you can become almost untouchable. Of course there are exceptions, but in most cases, it's good.
