  1. Rules of foam swordfighting, according to the Squirrel Boy: if you cut off your opponent's head twice, they're dead.
  2. RT @torbooks The covers that got away http://bit.ly/6QeOdK (includes the story behind the cover of "Blood Groove")
  3. Considering retooling the whole ending of the WIP. Stepped back a bit from it and saw it as a reader might; made me rethink it.
  4. At my blog: what I've learned from Sam Peckinpah (and why I'm thankful for it): http://tinyurl.com/yckgypy
  5. @FaireNews Someone else had pointed me toward Craig; he's already agreed to help. Thanks for the hint, though!
  6. Made it to the in-laws, and suitably large dinner waiting. The C-in-C got sick again, though; poor li'l guy is still under the weather.
  7. @jaekaebee You will never find the last typo. Asylums are filled with writers still looking.
  8. Up and showered, ready to go to grandmother's house (or in my case, mother-in-law's). Now to wake the heathen offspring.
  9. @David_JWest Check your e-mail. But keep it under your hat.... :-)
  10. @DocumentDriven See, when I see a rule like that, it makes me want to write a story that breaks it.
  11. Watching "Standing in the Shadows of Motown" with the Squirrel Boy (instead of "Max and Ruby").
  12. Any lute players out there? #renfest
  13. @jaekaebee Lute to ukelele? I don't know. Do you play the uke?
  14. Still looking for someone to answer questions about playing the lute. I doubt Sting would return my calls.
  15. Netiquette question: is it rude to reply to a FB friend request with a link to your fan site? No note or message to soften the blow, either?
  16. Does anyone know how to play a lute?
  17. The WIP is coming along, but it's working toward a slightly different ending than in the outline. Can't fit a bear in a badger den, though.
  18. Just heard the Naked Archeologist describe someone as "Part Sherlock Holmes, part cowboy and all Polish rabbi."
  19. @David_JWest Try this page: http://tinyurl.com/yzn2nub It's the FB Fan group for director Albert Pyun.
  20. @David_JWest Did you know they're (finally) making a sequel to Sword & Sorcerer?
