  10. The green for our first proprietary roast has arrived. Hoping we can nail it as well as we nailed the samples. 1st roast scheduled for Fri.
  11. @sprobro @lindsaytron re: siphon technique... new to us, not to world. Involves updosing, high TDS and underextraction. Results so far="Meh"
  12. Trying to work on new siphon technique with Frank. Customers keep interrupting ;-)
  13. Tuesday soup: Beans & greens. Bank error in your favor: we're using Kenya Thiriku as house coffee - at the house coffee price. Save a buck.

  15. Monday's soup is Pumpkin Chai with Apple. Other than Black Cat, not yet sure what coffees we're ordering this week... or from who.
  16. Sunday quiche: zucchini, artichoke, red pepper. Eight different coffees on brew bar and as retail. Only 3 bags of Stumptown left. Popular!
  17. Barismo's Brazil Santa Barbara = longer dwell time on Abid (4 min) produces amazing sweetness and longest cocoa finish we've experienced.
  18. On the shelves, 2 Ethiopians (Yirg and Sidama), Costa Rica Helsar Zarcero, Brazil Santa Barbara, 2 Guats (El Injerto Bourbon, La Concepcion)
  19. Friday soup is Pumpkin, Australian Style. Barismo Helsar Zarcero and Santa Barbara are in. Also Intelli Yirg and Sidama. Waiting on S-town.
  20. Got back from Kent far too late for an old guy. If Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeroes are near you, go see 'em. Entertaining beyond words.
