@ no, i mean a canvas dom element. well with touchevents, moving the finger doesn't move the screen (which is great for drawing)

@ let me be more precise. when you just tap without moving the finger, the mousemove event fires. not otherwise

@ well when you move the finger over the screen it moves the viewport, the event doesn't fire (or just once with one coord)
