  1. I have 1 copy of "Devil's Road Down" left. Time to get more. Hope it's selling just as well on the MDP website as when I take it to events!
  2. Fending off the same cold for three weeks now, but seem to be losing the battle this time. Two consecutive late nights of poetry = worth it.
  3. I think I may finish this short story tonight. The one I've been working on for a month or so.
  4. Home from London late, but not at all tired. What a lovely event! Camilla and Paul, it was wonderful to meet and read alongside you both.
  5. Train to London isn't until 1:54 PM. This is odd. I'm used to going early in the morning and coming back late. Well, I am coming back late.
  6. @james_nash Kitchens are time vaccuums, I think. I always end up in there for longer than I'd like, which is why I avoid it at all costs.
  7. @leashless Yes - we'll be in town for two upcoming days this month, 24 and 25 November. I have another reading then!
  8. @leashless I'm getting in around 3:50 PM and have to meet up with one of the other poets at Kings Place around 5:00.
  9. I'm reading poetry in London tomorrow, so come join the fun - http://ajodasso.livejournal...
  10. I have rarely seen such astonishing asshattery - http://bit.ly/2cWlFU
  11. ...and on employers. So, if your employer does something stupid, get mad at them, not the gov't. Consumer protections are a priority here.
  12. Reading the healthcare bill that the House passed yesterday - this sucker is 1990 pp. long! Lots of crackdowns on the ins. companies, good.
  13. @APSmitty more based on her history. So, in theory, if choosing a new provider is necessary, it could work out in your favor.
  14. @APSmitty Under the new legislation, though, there will be stricter regulations on insurance companies; they shouldn't be able to charge
  15. @APSmitty Have your mom's doctors actually said her bill will rise? According to what's on paper in the bill, the costs will go down.
  16. What does immigration advice have to do with skincare, you ask? - http://ajodasso.livejournal...
  17. "Two fundamental literary qualities: supernaturalism and irony." - Charles Baudelaire
  18. @dougald Tossed something your way for consideration in DM's first issue next year. Hoping to make it to London for upcoming events :)
  19. RT @johnmknight: Happy Anniversary of the Invention of the Flux Capacitor: November 5, 1955. Thank you, Doc Brown (& Mr. Zemeckis).
  20. Huh, it's the 5th of November. I totally forgot. I ended up watching "The Machinist" instead of "V for Vendetta." Tragic.
