So do I have any generous philanthropists out there this year who wouldn't mind donating a prize for my company Christmas party?

@ No problem! Easy remedy. Just drive a little farther up and tee off from the fringe. *LOL*

Because backspin fends off sidespin, if you choose a club with more loft off the tee, you are less likely to curve left or right.

A good setup is simple: just try to duplicate the position that you aspire to at impact. Good balance, good angles=good shot.

Avoid lifting your right foot before full contact. Your body must be behind the ball at impact or you'll suffer loss of power.

To hit a long drive, 3 elements must be present: Full wrist release of the club, swing with an even tempo and remain in balance.

Speed up your hands through impact zone by swinging through a shallower plane. Take practice shots above ball; hold handle below the grip.

Gain more power by ensuring your right arm is straight for the last two feet of your swing.

Ensure your watch faces target at address. Make sure it's facing there again for the strike or your club face will be too open/closed.
